Now into its 8th year, the Hampton in Arden 'Scarecrow Competition' is organised by the Hampton Festival Committee, in association with the Hampton Community Crafts group. Residents create scarecrows based on a chosen theme, with this years theme being 'Music'.
Following its introduction 2 years ago, we will again provide the opportunity for all members of the community to vote for their choice of winner, in each category (there will be four this year). Having listened to feedback, we have added a voting slip to the bottom of the flyers being sent out. As well as this, voting can be done by the traditional method of casting your vote on a piece of paper and submitting it via the local shops (a big thank you to the Corner Shop, Mike & Diane at the Village Stores, Emma in Sandwiches @ No. 6 and the Post Office) or, embracing modern technology, via the links below.
Winners will be announced on the afternoon of Saturday, 30th June at approx. 2pm..

Where are all the Scarecrows?
We have introduced a new way for you to view the Scarecrows around the village this year. Click on the map below to be taken to an interactive display of the location, address, contributors, category and Unique Scarecrow Number (USN) allocated to each scarecrow. Use this USN to allow you to vote.
Once all the entries have been viewed, and the Hampton Community have cast their votes, the results for each category will be announced live at the Festival on Saturday, 30th June at approx. 2pm. After this, results will be displayed here...
